Tottenham made it another positive evening under Roberto De Zerbi with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday, and there were several impressive individual performances across the pitch.
Sandro Tonali was the standout, while a number of Spurs players continued to build momentum after the win over Chelsea.

Antonin Kinsky – 7
A virtual bystander for much of the game as Tottenham dominated possession, but Kinsky was ready when called upon and made the saves required of him. A composed afternoon for the goalkeeper.
Archie Gray – 7
Broke the deadlock with a clever header at the back post and contributed to Tottenham’s pressing off the ball in the first half. Another useful performance from the versatile youngster, unlucky to be substituted at half time.
Jan Paul van Hecke – 8
Another commanding performance in quick succession for the Dutchman, who looks increasingly at home at Spurs. Showed great tenacity to get on the scoresheet with the second goal and was solid defensively throughout.

Micky van de Ven – 7
His recovery pace remains a key part of Tottenham’s defensive armoury. It helped lead to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s dismissal and got Spurs out of trouble on more than one occasion when Palace threatened to break.
Andy Robertson – 7
Another forward-thinking performance from the veteran Scot. Robertson offered good delivery at times and was an attacking threat down the left before being substituted.
Sandro Tonali – 8
Man of the match. Tonali is really hitting his straps at Tottenham now. The Italian controlled the game, brought relentless energy to the midfield and showed the quality that makes him such an important player. He still needs to add goals and become more of an attacking threat, but his influence is growing. His performance builds on the signs of progress we highlighted after the Manchester United game.
Mateus Fernandes – 7
Showed tenacity and fight in the midfield, leading the charge to win the ball back whenever Tottenham were out of possession. Another tidy performance from the Portuguese midfielder, who is becoming an increasingly reliable presence.
Omar Marmoush – 7
His pace is a real asset for Spurs and he looks a genuine attacking threat when running at defenders. De Zerbi still has to work out his best position in this Tottenham side, but there are encouraging signs.
Mathys Tel – 8
Growing in confidence week-on-week and looking increasingly determined to make a success of his Spurs career. Tel helped get the crowd behind the team with his forward-thinking play and enthusiastic pressing. His recent progress is becoming difficult to ignore.

Mohammed Kudus – 8
Kudus is Tottenham’s X-factor. The African attacker can do things on the ball that nobody else in this side can, and he was a constant source of unpredictability. He should have opened his goalscoring account for the season, but produced some excellent deliveries from set-pieces and open play.
Dominic Solanke – 6
Struggled to make much of an impression on the game, although he did produce one clever swivel and shot in the second half. Solanke looks a little short of confidence at present, but he is still working hard for the team.
Pedro Porro – 8
A very good second-half showing from the World Cup winner, who will hope to start next week against Leeds. Porro’s distribution and work off the ball make him such an important player for Spurs.
