Injury update: De Zerbi confirms Spurs man returns for Leeds clash

Tottenham have received a timely boost ahead of their trip to Leeds United, with Roberto De Zerbi confirming that Tosin Adarabioyo is available for selection.

The defender has been working his way back from the injury that kept him out of the recent matches against Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

De Zerbi revealed at his press conference on Friday that Tosin had rejoined the group the previous day and is now ready to be considered for the visit to Elland Road.

“Tosin is available. Yesterday he joined the group,” the Spurs head coach confirmed to the club’s official website.

It is a welcome boost for De Zerbi, who has been without the summer arrival in recent weeks. His return gives Tottenham another option in defence as they look to make it four Premier League wins in a row.

However, Spurs will still be without three other players for Saturday’s lunchtime fixture. De Zerbi confirmed that Savio, Lucas Bergvall and Mykhailo Mudryk are all unavailable.

Bergvall and Savio have both been sidelined since the draw with Manchester United on October 10, while Mudryk has been working his way back after an injury sustained earlier in the season.

De Zerbi did not provide fresh return dates for the trio, meaning Tottenham must continue without them against Leeds.

The focus will instead be on making the most of the players who are available, with Tosin’s return providing a timely lift ahead of a difficult test at Elland Road.
